How to Easily Upload Products to a Request via Excel File

In the realm of business operations, efficiency and accuracy are paramount, particularly when it comes to managing product listings and fulfilling requests. One such method is the utilization of Excel files for uploading products to requests.   1. Start the Request Creation Process

  2. Begin by accessing the request creation feature, typically found by clicking on the "New Request" button located in the left side menu of your platform.

  2. Fill Out Header Form Fields

  3. Once you’ve initiated the request creation process, you’ll be prompted to fill out the header form fields. Provide the required information accurately to set the context for your request.

  5. Access Excel Template

  6. Navigate to the items section of the request creation page. Look for the options labeled "Excel Template Upload" and "Download Template" located nearby.

  2. Download the Template

  3. Click on the "Download Template" button to download the Excel template onto your device. The template will contain fields where you can input product names and other relevant data.

  5. Fill Out the Template

  6. Open the downloaded Excel template and populate the fields with the necessary information. Ensure that you accurately input product names and any additional data required for each item.

  10. Save the Excel File

  11. Once you’ve filled out the template with the required product information, save the file to your preferred location on your device.

  13. Upload the Excel File

  14. Return to the new request page on your platform and locate the "Excel Template Upload" button. Click on this button to select the Excel file you’ve just populated with product data.

  2. Complete the Process

  3. After selecting the file, proceed to upload it. Once the upload is complete, the products listed in the Excel file will automatically populate in the items section of your request.

  5. Review and Finalize

  6. Take a moment to review the populated product listings to ensure accuracy and completeness. Make any necessary adjustments or additions as needed.

  8. Proceed with Request

  9. With the products successfully uploaded to your request via the Excel file, you can proceed with any further actions or submissions required to complete the request process.
