This feature helps you verify the purpose of transactions at any time and trace connections to any internal requests, enhancing transparency and inventory management.

Adding notes to stock transactions provides several benefits:

How to Add Notes to a Stock Transaction
Adding notes to a stock transaction in Team Procure is a simple and straightforward process. Here’s how you can do it:
- Navigate to the Warehouse Section: go to the Warehouse section on the left-side menu of your Team Procure dashboard.
- Click on "All Warehouses" to open the page displaying all warehouses.
- From the list of warehouses, select and open the warehouse where you want to initiate the transaction.
- Initiate a Warehouse Transaction: on the warehouse page, you can initiate any of the following warehouse transactions:
Receive In: For recording goods received into the warehouse.
Goods Issue: For recording goods issued out of the warehouse.
Transfer Request: For initiating a transfer of goods between different warehouses or locations.
- Add Products and Enter Notes: in the transaction dialog box that opens, add the products involved in the transaction.
- Fill out all the necessary transaction details such as quantities, destination, etc.
- Write your notes in the "Notes" field to document the reason for the transaction.
Note: The notes field has a maximum limit of 250 characters, so make sure your note is concise yet informative. - Save the Transaction: after entering all the required information and notes, click "Save" to complete the transaction.
Your transaction, along with the notes, will now be recorded in the system.
Reviewing Notes for Specific Transactions
Team Procure allows you to review the notes added to transactions in two ways
Transactions History Table
- Navigate to the Transactions History table within the warehouse section.
- In the notes column next to each transaction, you will see the notes associated with that specific transaction.
Product-Specific Transactions History
- You can also check the transaction history for a specific product by navigating to its details page.
- Here, you will find a list of all transactions related to that product, along with any notes added.
By following these steps, you can effectively add and review notes for any stock transaction in Team Procure. This feature ensures that you always have a record of the reasons behind each transaction, facilitating better inventory management and internal communication.
