Setting Required Fields for Purchase Orders

Setting Up Required Fields for Purchase Orders

Accessing Settings

1. • Start by clicking on the account icon located in the top right corner of your dashboard. 
   • From the dropdown menu, select "Settings":

1. • Within the settings page, you will find various configuration options. On the left-side menu, locate and click on "Custom Fields":

1. • Among the list of custom fields categories, identify "PO Custom Fields."
   • Click on the "Edit" option next to it:

Configuring Individual Fields

1. • You will now see a list of custom fields that can be configured for purchase orders. Find the specific field for which you want to enforce mandatory completion.
   • To configure the field, click on the dropdown arrow next to it. This will open additional settings for that field:

Setting the Field as Required

1. • Within the additional settings, you'll find a "Required" toggle. Switch it on to indicate that this field must be filled out for every purchase order:

Saving Your Updates

• After toggling the "Required" option, make sure to Save your updates. This will confirm your selection and enforce the requirement.
